Pure Touch Therapeutics is happy to announce a new service. LuAnne Kelly, owner and licensed massage therapist will now come to your house, party, event or retreat for your special treatments! LuAnne utilizes a very eclectic style of her own specializing in many practices of Massage incorporating Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Therapy, Reflexology and forms of Emotional Breathwork. Aromatherapy, Hot Rock, Body Scrubs, Herbal wraps and Essential Oil are just some of the other special treatments she offers.
Types of Therapies
Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage consists of a relaxing oil massage, incorporating effleurage, petrasage and kneading for long rejuvenating stokes to the back, legs and extremities.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue incorporates techniques of Swedish with deep stokes and concentrated kneading for release and unwinding very tight muscular and stress related areas.
Sports Therapy: Sports Therapy is used in conjunction with Deep tissue. Cross-tissue trigger Point applications help to release muscles where an injury has occurred. Sports Therapy is applicable when a vigorous, rejuvenating and active participation is needed.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy comes into play with all of the scented massage products from Pure Touch. LuAnne utilizes particular properties of certain essential oils to create an atmosphere to sedate, enliven and rejuvenate certain organs or to create a general overall pleasant experience of sensual bliss.
Body Scrubs, wraps and other body treatments
One of our most popular body treatments offered by LuAnne is the Luffa Scrub. For this treatment, she utilizes an all over half hour back exfoliation with a thirty minute massage after the scrub. Hot moist towels warm the body to prepare the skin for exfoliation. A body gel is applied with a luffa sponge and circular motions aid in the ability to remove dead skin cells. Exfoliation is particularly beneficial to healing and releasing toxins from the body. Exfoliation is recommended seasonally, especially when diet or detox is underway for a better since of health and well-being.
Essential Oil Therapy
With LuAnne's essential oil therapy, essential oil applications are dropped on to the back and allowed to penetrate while massage is applied with concentration on certain properties of the oils to help to create the desired effect of relaxation and rejuvenation for the body and psyche.
